The LED ceiling light LECA 2.0 from Wever & Ducré impresses with its excellent design, which was awarded the Red Dot Award 2024. The luminaire is made of powder-coated die-cast aluminum, ensuring a durable and resilient surface. Its matte black finish gives the light an elegant and timeless appearance that harmoniously integrates into various room concepts. The compact design with asymmetrically placed spherical heads makes this light particularly attractive and functional.

Efficient and High-Quality Lighting

The LECA 2.0 is equipped with powerful COB LEDs that achieve a luminous efficacy of 103 lumens per watt. With a total power of 15 watts, the luminaire produces a luminous flux of 1170 lumens in a warm white color temperature of 2700 Kelvin. The color rendering is excellent with a CRI value of over 90, meaning colors are reproduced very naturally and vividly. This makes the luminaire ideal for areas where precise color perception is important.

Flexible Orientation and Light Control

Each of the two spots on the LECA 2.0 is mounted on a gimbal, meaning the light heads can be tilted flexibly and rotated nearly 360 degrees. This allows precise alignment of the light beam with a beam angle of 31 degrees. For more targeted light control, an optional honeycomb filter attachment can be used. The luminaire is dimmable via phase-cut dimmers, so the light intensity can be adjusted individually, although a dimmer must be purchased separately.

Easy Installation and Durable Operation

The installation of the LED ceiling light is straightforward using a clamp connection technique that allows direct connection to a supply voltage of 220 to 240 volts. The integrated LED driver in the canopy ensures stable and safe power supply. With an average lifespan of 55,000 hours, the LECA 2.0 offers an exceptionally long service life without frequent lamp replacements. The low weight of only 0.74 kilograms also facilitates mounting.

Practical Technical Features

The luminaire belongs to protection class 1 and is designed for use in dry environments (IP20). The color consistency is very low at 2 SDCM, meaning that when using multiple luminaires of the same series, no disturbing color deviations occur. With a mains frequency of 50 to 60 Hz, the LECA 2.0 is universally applicable. Additionally, other items in the LECA series are available, which complement each other perfectly and enable a harmonious lighting concept.
